all the things

We made it through a great week and are officially on Easter Break!  The exciting part of break is that Grammy and PopPop, Matt's parents, are coming! This will be the FIRST TIME Matt's Dad has met Ben, and the second time for Grammy, though the first time we only had 30 minutes and Matt wasn't there...and it's been almost a year since the girls have seen them, so this is one for the books.  They come Tuesday and we can't wait.

As always, every day is break for Nora :)  She loves having Sam and Joel home while the girls are at school, and now she's thrilled to have the girls home from school for a week.
This week I got to take the graduation pictures for fourth year, which is always both hilarious and fun. We have 19 students graduating this year from the undergrad program, and as always, I love/hate sending them out!
Thursday night the kitchen staff joined us for dinner (which was also fun and hilarious, though you wouldn't know it the second you take a camera out and everyone turns formal!).  They cook us the best Haitian food all year long and it's so fun to make them pizza and coleslaw and THANK them. At one point Nellie was laughing so hard she was crying in her coleslaw, and somehow bunny ears got involved.

In chapel the last few weeks, the upperclassmen have been preaching, and I love hearing them reflect on all that they're learning and His faithfulness on their journeys.  I also love how they know and love each other well.

Friday we were all in stitches as the new student council was named and all the "competition" made sure there were no hard feelings :)
Meanwhile, this little man's been burning up since Friday...not sure what's going on, but wherever you put him he's miserable or falling asleep :( So sad...hopefully just teeth!  He turned 9 months Friday, but we're waiting for a happy day picture.
Sofie loves school when there's school and loves home when she's home, and she's already been busy with art and homeschool with her favorite pencil :)
Nora LOVES when the girls are home.

Today we got to hang out with this little ham and his brothers while Bill and Julie had to replace their washing machine :)
It's been getting hot, and they spent a good few hours in buckets.
There's a lot of outreach and ministry going on this next week in staff and student churches throughout Haiti...there's a lot of outreach and ministry going on this next week around the world! It's such a privilege to be praying and a part of it with you.  Because EASTER...just what we needed.
