On the move...another Ayars family Adventure!

After a really busy “tying up ends” week, plus packing and cleaning and preparing, and having another family move into our house literally 20 minutes after we left today and all the prep for that, we made it safely to Miami and have three kiddos snoring softly and Mom and Dad not far behind them.

America always dazzles their daylights, from escalators to automatic paper towel dispensers, carpeting to apple juice and even broccoli, and we haven’t even left an airport yet.

We are determined to enjoy each adventure, even the travel days, because this is our life and it is fun every time we decide it is :)

Tomorrow morning we have two longer flights, putting us with our beloved Mishler family by the afternoon and on to our Sabetha/NorthRidge family by evening...it is truly truly such a special community, and we are so thankful to be getting good time with such an encouraging and godly group of men and women.  And having almost a whole week at Uncle Martin and Aunt Sharon’s!

Yesterday was an especially emotional day with our OMS team, with a lot of goodbyes (some for good as families move to other ministries and seasons) and a lot of precious prayer for which I am very thankful. There are those who are not shaken by waves, who truly prove over and over their utter reliance upon His faithfulness, and they just bless and inspire my heart.

It’s probably needless to say, but I’m realizing that as much as it continues to feel that there is much, much to do, and that there is NEVER a good time to step away for five weeks, that we need a breath!

And while five parts of the country and six speaking engagements all in less than five weeks with three Littles and 33 weeks pregnant might not sound like much of a breather, it is a major change, it is with encouraging family, and it’s different...and there will be ice cream, and I’m buying bread from the store and milk that’s already been pasteurized, and we’re covering paved roads and sleeping in a/c and Matt’s preaching in his first language and we’re not hosting any visitors (we ARE the visitors!) and so that’s all a breather in itself.

Thankful already for good, focused time loving on the girls today and for the gift of having family taking care of us for a bit.  Thank you for your travel prayers and for praying us through these past few weeks of  crazy!
