network kingdom

I got an email yesterday from Bubba, telling me that he'd been in the hospital and having to have an iv put in, and that as he and the iv nurse got talking and some-crazy-how discovered that she reads our blog and knew Lily was sick and was praying.

THAT to me is just mind-boggling.  And makes me so thankful to have His human-term network, His kingdom, God at work through His people.

And to tell Lily, that while God hasn't been answering her prayers for instant healing quite like she's been praying, that God is WITH her in the suffering and loving her and reminding His people to be praying with her, for her.  I love that.  Thank you.

She's doing a bit better today, I think.  Her face doesn't look much better, but she's acting more herself and has been awake all morning, which is a first in many days.

Matt is on his way, with flights both tonight and tomorrow, and I know having him home will help Lil as much as anything!  This week is FINALS week, which is hard to believe!

While I have you, start praying up Jean-William and Rujerry with us, will you!?  They travel to the Dominican Republic on the 10th for an Italian embassy appointment on DECEMBER 11th.  The two big gates for this not-your-normal-missions-trip were money and visas.  The money, every penny, is IN (this is a huge praise the Lord, He is mighty), and we are praying fervently for this second attempt at travel visas and short-term residency visas.  Please be praying for them with us, Network-Kingdom.

God tends to specialize in things money and human effort can't do.

Thanks for your Christ-love.
