keepin' it real

Our fantastic team from West Park UMC has had an awesome week...painting, worshiping with Emmaus, getting to know students, joining us for Bible study, participating in English conversation night...
...
...and even operating on a few animals, much to the girls' delight!

Homeschool at it's finest.  Very thankful to have all the pets spayed and neutered...and that I didn't have to be there for that educational experience.

Truly a fantastic group of five...very thankful for the time we've had with them this week.

Meanwhile this week we've also had classes...
student dinner,
and Matt going a little crazy, trying to get ready to go.

Sadly, he is leaving again...though I'm thankful for all that he's heading to.

If you're in the NJ/DE/NY/PA region, Matt will be speaking at the following places on the following days, and would LOVE to see you and catch up!

Sunday, March 12 - West Park UMC, Bridgeton NJ, 8:30 and 11 am

Thursday, March 16 - Cornerstone Church, Bear DE

Sunday, March 19 - White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, Newark DE, 8:30 and 11 am

If you're NOT in one of those regions, then just be praying for us...
this is a really busy season, the girls both have testing every day next week, a film crew is coming next week to do a bunch of marketing stuff for the seminary (which will be fantastic...but a lot of extra time/energy), counselors are here for all OMS missionaries and I get to do our marriage counseling slot...by myself (Matt's ears are gonna be burning :) ), and I'm just really feeling quite under-confident right now that we've GOT this.

Thankful that Katie (Hamilton, Ontario) is here and starting to learn the ropes and the girls love her!  She spent today at the clinic and will spend tomorrow at Sofie's school/orphanage, and then off to visit a ministry in Cap-Haitien...she's already a busy girl herself!

But there's lots of girls, lots of students, lots of community to love and be thankful for, and a faithful Father!  Thank you for your prayers!!
