some days are easier than others, I guess, when it comes to the grateful heart
I will search through the many things that made today difficult
deep for the thanks that is not dictated by the moments
I am thankful...
for the sweet orphans Sofie goes to school with
their joy is radiant, their questions sincere, their desire just to be with you...touching
that our adequacy is from God (2 Cor 3:5)
for sweet kisses from my girls for no reason
for being what Sofie says she is thankful for on her Thanksgiving questionnaire
for Uncle Dave and Aunt Marilyn
coming early tomorrow to help, and helping anyway just by the Spirit of Christ in them
that the girls get the next two days off from school for Vertier Day
that all the snow pictures you are posting on FB are NOT HERE
for intimate worship music, right now, Jenn Johnson
for a loud, fragrant, full day tomorrow, celebrating Thanksgiving for so much
that all the financial and materialistic reasons in the world we have to be thankful
are nothing compared to how thankful we are in Christ
who is FREE
that we are never alone, even when we are tempted to feel it
