beach, worship, weekend

We had a lovely day at a little beach yesterday with Dad and Cindy...

...even with Lily's sea eel.
Cindy brought these bopper stickers, which provided far more entertainment than you would have thought possible.

We were all so tired by the time we got there, that a day of rest away from home surrounded by His beauty was p-e-r-f-e-c-t.

Lily and Ethan figured out how to get towed all around the bay :)
and Lily found lots of crabs for sale, and a poor little sea turtle.
We swam/kayaked over to this little bay, where some guy was very randomly selling beautiful wood bowls.  I mean, beach and shopping?
how gorgeous is this little beach?

The best part, I think, is always the boat ride there and home.
Colorful, slow and peaceful...
Discover Haiti!
Unfortunately, the food at the beach entirely did Dad in.  He's been terribly sick ever since we got home, and we were so bummed to have he and Cindy miss church this morning, one of the best ways to enjoy and celebrate Christ in Haiti!
Nonetheless, we had a great service in the rain this morning and Matt preached a great message on compassion coming from Jesus' raising Lazarus from the dead and his healing of Barthemaus.

The worship at Emanie's (4th year student) is always ROCKING.  "I could feel it in my feet!" Lily announced on the way home...here's a sample!
Great weekend to be His.  Can't WAIT to hear how the weekend has gone in Limel!
