we like to move it, move it

The last lovely 48 hours...
-unpacking a van that looked like a homeless family had been living in it for four weeks
     -five loads of laundry
     -vacuuming and washing said van
-cleaning the house that has been empty for four weeks
     -putting away every. single. thing.
-cleaning out the garage of said house
-giving a bunch of stuff away
-riding bikes, playing in the sandbox, playing in the play kitchen and cooking in the real one
     -grocery shopping
-getting many things back out and repacked
-taking 4 baths (the girls REALLY love grandpa's bathtub)
-5 and 3 year old annual doctor visit
     -4 vaccines
     -roasting marshmallows
-met Dad and Cindy at a superb Greek restaurant, the only time we actually dressed in coordinating, non-pajama outfits
-moving furniture from garage to basement and vice versa
-asking two different random people at two different random times to jump our van
-repacked, suitcases by the door, ready for an early morning

Is anyone totally stoked about getting back in the van to head to the airport to travel more tomorrow?

notsomuch.

Is everyone really excited about 4 whole days with Uncle Martin and Aunt Sharon and a whole slew of really special family people in Sabetha, Kansas?  (Which they continue to claim to be "paradise"?)

YES.

Can't have one without the other, so we are OFF.

This really has been what feels like the craziest summer known to man.  Thankfully, everyone in Sabetha (aside from Martin) will be too polite to mention we look 10 lbs. heavier, 10 years older, exhausted, mis-matched and wrinkly.
That's good family.

Can't wait.
