I finally have proof that I attended Dad's wedding!  

And proof that somehow, June 11th we have been married NINE YEARS!  

I don't know how they have passed so quickly, though I must admit, this picture seems like a lifetime ago!

We knew when they took this picture that we were, Lord willing, heading for Haiti, but man...that was about ALL of the last nine years of adventure, heartbreak, transition, learning, babies, and change we foresaw!   

There have been some incredibly hard times, and moments when we felt far from the joy and bliss and swoon of this first day, but by His grace, here we are...and I am so incredibly thankful to have been through it all with Matt, my dearest friend.   I love you, babe!

One day, we are going to be TOGETHER for our anniversary...at least, like, on the same continent...and that will be great, too!
