crazy.

We knew this was going to be a crazy week.

We just didn't realize HOW crazy.

To spare you all the gritty details, the short, sweet, no picture version is this:

-Student retreat for 60 students and 20 staff is tomorrow, and a LOT of what we thought was ready from over the summer is. not.  Time marches on regardless, and we need your prayers as we work with staff to fix, change, adjust, and deal with a lot of issues that just came out of the woodwork today.

-Giselaine is not doing well after her accident yesterday--sore, bruised, fever, raw skin.  She is our head chef and kitchen director, meals for 80 start tomorrow, and she is out for the count.  This is creating/surfacing a lot of extra work and issues.  Like, right now.  Please pray for her and for all involved.

-Staff retreat is Saturday, and a lot of what we thought was taken care of, again... yeah.  Thank you.

-It was a very rough evening.  Everyone else is now sleeping, and things will look a lot better in the morning.  

-They HAVE to look better in the morning, because Matt is the keynote speaker at 8 am, and then will spend the late morning/afternoon in town, getting our newest EBS members, Team Heckman, and 2000 lbs of stuff in, through customs and town, and home!

Please pray for all the many loose ends to find their way--and His!--for Giselaine, for all the staff and students coming back into community tomorrow for His transforming change in Haiti, for strength, energy and good health for all of us, for all of us to dwell at His feet in the midst and find Him to be our All in All, His Word ever on our lips and hearts.
