Sad to see these two go today...Aunt Sheesha and Uncle Ad-am are like celebrities with our family, being bears, tickle-monsters, King and Queen, dancers, lifeguards, horses...pretty much whatever the girls want :) They're the best!
As much as we hate to see them move on, we can't help but be excited about what their future holds as they move from Denver to Philly this summer and head for Northern Ireland next week.
The only thing that helped that good-bye today was knowing we have a big HELLO for tomorrow! We're heading for Indy tomorrow for a full-day with our dear Aubry friends we haven't seen since we all left Haiti in May/June! That may not seem like a lot of time, but when you're used to living on top of each other for 6 months, having kids who play together at least 6 hours a day, and spending all your weekends and evenings together...yeah, WE MISS THEM!
The girls are SO excited, and so are we! Our friendship has sustained many adventures, and while it's killing us to know their time in Haiti is finished, we're excited to have this chance to catch up and be thankful to be friends all the same!
