catch up and clarify.

We had a fabulous morning yesterday at Sharptown and Sharptown North...catching up with lots of friends, Matt sharing from Psalms 113 in all three services, and just being generally thankful to be at Sharptown.

In just a few weeks now, Sharptown's youth pastor family, Phil and Emily Heckman and their kiddos, Ethan and Haylie, will be moving down to Haiti and settling in right next door!  We felt a little bad yesterday because we know how badly everyone at Sharptown is going to miss their special and dynamic family, but we can't help but be excited to have them joining us!  You can check out their blog here...and you'll be hearing more about them soon!  They are mid-Cross Training in Greenwood now and will join us in Haiti August 22nd, Lord willing!

This week is filling up fast with an afternoon with Diane at her pool, an afternoon with Uncle Don and Aunt Brenda at their pool, a fun filled evening with some of the Sharptown crew who has helped out in Haiti and their wives and kids, our annual date night with Pastor Doug and Julie, hopefully a date night with Matt's brother and sister-in-law, a visit with Matt's Grandma, and this morning, our annual trip to IKEA to pick up a few things for the next year in Haiti!

We're getting ready for next Sunday, when we'll be preaching both services at Seed of Greatness Church in New Castle, DE.  If you live near here, that's our last speaking engagement for the East Coast!

Also, quickly I just want to clarify...I do NOT HATE your iPhone (yes, I still have people mentioning that post from last summer :), do not hate your bikini, your mini skirt, or anything else about you!  You don't have to feel uncomfortable around me with them, don't have to apologize, or anything else :)

All I'm encouraging anyone to do is take a 2-second step back and make sure that we're deliberate about His glory in the way we spend our time and attention and the way that we dress...make sure we are listening for His voice and His direction above all others.

Don't change or do anything the same because of ME.  Change or stay because of HIS voice in your life.

We all want the freedom to be in Christ and to have His love radiate through us!  We're all in different places and He's working on all of us in different areas at different times, none higher or lower.  Your freedom is in Christ, friend.  You're not going to get ANYTHING less from me!  I love you.

When He speaks to my heart, Stacey, THINK about that or Stacey, go DO that, I frequently also feel led to share it here.  If it grows you in Him, praise the Lord.  If it doesn't, let it go.  If the Holy Spirit resonates in your heart as you read, pay attention to Him.  And if not, be free!

You're nothing but loved.
