Happy Birthday, Sof!

Yesterday (June 4th) Sofie turned 2!  While we're not really celebrating until Aunt Lisa gets here and takes us to the zoo, it was still a great day and Sofie is very excited to tell everyone, "I TWOOOO!"

Sofie has by far been the hardest of our two...from pregnancy until now :)

But, with her increasing vocabulary she's getting increasingly better, communicating instead of melting down.  There's a lot to love about this cheeky, cuddly, super dependent, quick to anger, incredibly sweet, dad-favoring, early rising, adorable little waif, and there's a lot SHE loves.

Yesterday, I let them play in the toy aisle of Target for over an hour.  She LOVED it, and stayed true to her obsession for babies, puppies and cats.

and sugar.  This girl LOVES her sugar.

We had birthday dinner at Max and Erma's (or "Maximuses", as Lily calls it)

and spent the evening playing in the yard.

 Loves to swing, hates to wear shoes.  Or anything, for that matter.

Her fun day ended in a birthday message from Aunt Elisa and Aunt Mia, which thrilled her to know end.

Despite lots of toddler-sensitive meltdowns, 6 am alarms every morning, and how busy this girly girl keeps us, I can't imagine life without Sofia Lovely!  There is nothing better than all the sticky daily kisses, sweet talk and knowledge that He has a great adventure in store for her life in Him...starting NOW!
