Matt almost got home in time for our 8 year anniversary...hard to believe it's been so long!

Aunt Lisa watched the girls so we could go out, Dad got us a gift card to PF Changs, and we were set! 

It was great. 

 It's great to hear Matt preach.  I love to watch him interact in Haiti and in North America.  Seeing him with the girls is precious.  The Lord is always using Him to touch and stretch and teach my life.  He is the only one who has been through this crazy adventure that's been our life.  

But it's easy to forget in the middle of diapers and speaking, grading papers and staff meetings that we're not just co-workers.  Hard to talk about something other than little girls and Seminary issues, our schedule and what we need to do.

So talking about his trip to England and mine to Atlanta, chocolate cake and stuff we're looking forward to, eating good food and browsing crystal and remembering WE ARE FRIENDS...

that's good.  We need that.

Matt's dream house happens to be IN Crate and Barrel.
