It's on her mind. It's changed her perspective. It's making her think more about who she is and why she's here.
I trust that letting her in on my prayers for her will impact her little life, and grow her in relationship with our Father.
Maybe Jesus trusted the same thing.
Eavesdrop into this prayer with me...Jesus, praying to God, for US.
But now I come to You
and these things I speak in the world
so that they may have My joy made full
I have given them Your word;
and the world has hated them,
because they are not of the world,
just like I'm not of the world.
I do not ask You to take them out of the world,
but only to keep them from the evil one.
Sanctify them in the truth;
Your word is truth.
As You have sent me into the world,
I have sent them into the world.
I do not ask on behalf of these alone,
but for those also who believe in Me because of their word;
that they all may be one;
even as You, Father, and I are one.
The glory You have given Me,
I have given them,
that they may be one, just like us.
I in them and You in Me,
that they may be perfected in unity,
so that the world may know that You sent Me,
and love them, even as You have loved me.
O righteous Father, though the world has not known You,
I have known You;
and these have known that You sent Me
and I have made Your name known to them,
so that the love which You loved Me
maybe in them.
John 17: 13-26
