Matt arrived safely back to Ohio last night at midnight (or 5 am, his time!) and is as thrilled to be back with his family as his family is to have him back! The girls are overjoyed, and so am I. So grateful for the wonderful head God has blessed our family with!
So thankful for this opportunity he has had to build good relationships, to focus on deepening his understanding of the Bible and to learn, learn, learn...but so glad to have our family together again!
Meanwhile, our dear friend and my college roommate, Bex, is flying into Columbus now to spend a few of her very precious days with us. She's only home from the mission field that God has called her to (she moved the same week we first moved to Haiti!) for a few short weeks, and we are so excited to have two days to catch up with her, to hear about life on a very different mission field and to hopefully be an encouragement!
Sunday starts our speaking "tour" with a church that has been family to us since before we even moved to Haiti after one of its members contacted us during our training season. Since then, they have aligned with students, sent us care packages, joined us in praying through many storms, and loved our girls...Praise the Lord for New Bedford Church!
We'll be at the 8:30 and 10:30 service and can't wait to see everyone!
