What
a fun day J
It’s
finals week, so the guys are making rotations between studying like crazy and
taking part in ANY distraction possible so they don’t have to study.
Maria,
Elisa and I are having lots of flashbacks from our college days J
SO,
to help them, this last week is also dotted with lots of end-of-the-year fun
activities, like the soccer championship game today (2nd year!), the
“marathon” competition, which Matt, Lily and Azi led on the motorcycle around
the compound, and the Coke contest.
Thursday
is the big end of the year luncheon and talent competition, and Friday is a day
of praise. Graduation is
Saturday!
My
students still have one more final tomorrow and one Thursday, and the EBS board
starts to arrive tomorrow morning.
Please
be praying for students while they finish their tests, for fourth year as they
prepare for graduation, for staff as we prepare for a large graduation
ceremony, for the board and their meetings, for professors as they finalize
their courses, and for new students as they prepare applications. Oh man…it’s a bit crazy around here!
Add
in Sofie’s cold and fussiness, Lily’s excitement over having Aunt Mia and Aunt
Elisa here, lots of meals to cook, lots of visitors and lots of things to do
before everyone leaves for summer vacation….whew!
Having
a blast this afternoon with the students and staff who have become our friends
and family reminded us of the joy and importance of relationships over
tasks! Praying for joy in those
relationships and in our relationship with Him over great accomplishments these
next days!
So, Matt is now allowed to ride the motorcycle? With children? Hmmmm!
ReplyDeleteSounds tiring, but looks so fun :) Praying for rest this week.
