We are still lacking enough internet to share pictures, which is unfortunate, because I have some really good ones from the conference and from church today, as well as of Lily helping butcher a cow and Sofie enjoying oreos.
With 8 visitors today, a long drive and muddy hike to church, Matt preaching, an afternoon of visiting, two girls who are STILL not feeling well, half of dinner to make with Dodo, all following a wonderful but really exhausting and long conference day yesterday, we're feeling pretty exhausted tonight.
Starting a week on fumes is not the way we like to jump in, and not having a Sabbath day this weekend was not ideal. We have lost so many translators to incapability this past week that Matt and Lucner have finally resigned to alternatively translating the largest course themselves, and while this is a fun change-of-pace, it means all of the projects set aside for this month of intensive courses are being pushed off. With our trusted child-care out sick, I'm spending a lot of time with girls who are feeling fussy and emotional due to illness.
Please pray for our health physically and emotionally, pray for quiet and restorative moments with Him, pray that the Word that was preached yesterday and today will blossom, and we'll keep praising the Lord for His faithful presence and unwavering love.
As soon as we get back our bandwidth, I'll share some great testimonies and photos from this weekend!
I'll bet Lily loved the butchering process!
