family

Our EBS family has made it safely to Port-au-Prince, enjoyed a packed out showing of the story of Jesus's life and death and resurrection Thursday night, and had a fantastic day of evangelism and preaching and teaching on Friday.

"Junior," I asked him Friday night, "It is good to have some friend there?"

"Oh...Oh my" he said, "I do not have enough words in English to tell you. It is SO good."

Meanwhile, we arrived safely in Fort Lauderdale, as did Matt's parents from Delaware, Daddy from Ohio, and Lisa and Adam from Colorado. We have enjoyed some wonderful food (ICE CREAM, apples, bacon, gyros, MMMM), spent the afternoon on the beach, and are having such a great time with family and away from life and work. Matt and I are surprisingly struggling with culture-shock more than we have previously (Spring Break in Florida is a bit overwhelming) , and while Lily is a bit overwhelmed, she is doing great.

We'll talk to our family in Port later today and will keep you updated! Thank you for all your prayers during this HUGE time for the church in Haiti...the resurrection of Haiti's Savior, our Savior.

Also, my dear friend serving in North Africa has been writing some really good stuff about Easter, a Muslim perspective, and what God's been working on in her...Check Bex's blog out here.
