This weekend was a blessing for us both: Matt in DE with his family for Mother's Day and Stacey at Asbury College in KY for graduation. We are blessed to have been raised in God-loving homes, and blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of a Christian college, resulting in Christian friendships. Even without these things, we are blessed to have a history of faith behind us...Esther offering up her life to spare a nation of believers, Paul imprisoned countless times and eventually killed for his endurance in preaching the Word, Daniel choosing pursuit of the Lord despite threats of certain death. We have such a history of faith, such a history of Christ-followers...how could we not pursue His call on our lives? We are blessed to have so many of you in our lineage of believers!

because of our history
