Friends, we drove an insane amount of miles in the last seven days...all the way to Ft. Myers Florida to see Matt's family after church one Sunday and back again before church the next Sunday. SO many storms, so much rain, lots of cancelled plans, a short pool window and a short beach window, so many delays, and over the 7 days, three kids with stomach bugs.
By the time we got back right in time to shower and head to church, I am pretty convinced we never want to leave home again!
There WAS precious time with the cousins (who finally met Emma!) and with Matt's parents, brother and sister in law, precious time with Aunt Sharon at her Florida home on the way back, and lots of ways the Lord showed up...like protecting us driving through countless storms and accidents with sick kiddos!
Better post soon, but the laundry is finally all caught up, and I am almost there, too :)
