Alright, dear ones...I need your prayers.
Nora has been sick more than a week now...what started with lots of vomitting and stomach pain last Wednesday--and has sometimes seemed better and sometimes seemed worse--is now on day 8. After not being able to eat for so long, she is weary, mostly crying, sleeping, or laying in a hot shower, but blood tests, urine analysis, strep tests, doctors visits...they're all coming back normal.
Tomorrow morning we head in for deeper level tests, and we just need your prayers, she needs your prayers. Please pray for healing with us and help.
Meanwhile, my dad is also to begin his new treatment tomorrow, and it just. sounds. awful. I don't know how he's supposed to feel good about daily taking a pill that is too dangerous to touch with your hands, but it is supposed to be the current best route for containing the cancer. He is weary, too.
Thank you for praying for these two we care about so much, and for continuing to pray for Haiti, always heavy on our hearts and minds.

ReplyDeleteFather, we ask in Jesus name, by His finished work on the cross and speak that Nora and Stacey’s dad are healed from the crown of their head to the soles of their feet. Strengthen their bodies, give them rest and your unspeakable peace. Thank you that you hear our prayer and that you answer us. In Jesus name. Amen

"Lord Jesus, Please grant restoration to Nora's little body and give Matt and Stacey wisdom, and the doctors, to know what is best to do for her. I trust You, Jesus, in this important matter. ReplyDeletePrayers for both. My brother had similar symptoms just last week. Intermittent vomiting and pain. suspected blocked bowel, but finally found a kink in the intestine.

We surely will pray for little Nora, we're already praying for your Dad and you Mom and all of you. I know I'm not in contact these days, but you are on my permanent prayer list. Have always loved ya'll since you came to our SS class at First Methodist Waco. (Im back at my old home church now, First Assembly of God.) Hugs to you and Matt both.
