Matt and Sofie are off to Ohio, Matt to preach this weekend, and Sofie to hang out with Grandpa and Ms. Cindy for her 10th birthday!
Sunday morning he's preaching at 10:30 am at Capital City Church in Lockbourne, Ohio, and Sunday evening: The CCCU Global Impact Rally at Mount of Praise Camp Meeting is coming soon on June 20th at 6:00 p.m. at Ohio Christian University
With power outages both at home and at Wesley today, with a week of DMIN students from around the US (and globe, actually) on site at Wesley this week for an intensive class, working on Sofie's passport renewal for our next trip to Haiti (10th birthday means it's expired again!), an old friend from Haiti here taking a class at WBS, seeing some friends, small group, youth group, getting caught up from being gone and having Matt on the move again...it was just a crazy week, and the next few weeks, actually.
Tonight Lily was at youth game night at church, Matt and Sofie were traveling, and Nora and Ben had spaghetti and puddle jumping and blueberry picking (neighbor's yard) and bubble baths...It is never just us three, and that was such finally sweet and slow time.
Everytime I think I'm done processing, that we're "well adjusted", well. We're not. We're still working at it. It's been more work than I ever thought, and maybe it's never going to happen.
The Lord has been solid.
So thankful for His faithfulness, and that He is our friend, our home.
