We were so blessed this weekend to have Greg and Cathie come. They flew up from Port and spent the whole weekend with us...playing games and loving on the babies and catching up on our lives...and watching us vomit.
Lily was sent home from school Friday throwing up and miserable, then Matt all day Saturday, then mom all day Sunday. Which means they not only spent good time loving on us, but also spent good time taking care of us...which killed me :( But I'm so thankful they were here, and we just shared a lot of moments that proved we are more family than friends.
As a teenager, I spent a LOT of time around the table in Port-au-Prince eating Cathie's baked goods and playing settlers, and it was so nostalgic to make apple pie together and watch them teach Lily and Sofie how to play.
I'm attempting a half-day of teaching today, and then will be back in bed...this sickness everyone has been passing around is ROUGH. Thankful that Ben hasn't gotten sick, thankful that our neighbors are finally better (which means we really should be soon), thankful for family and for your prayers.
