sweet month

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday have been full...full of laundry and visitors and sand and sun, full of farm tours and boat tours and quality time and good food, full of snuggles and fussiness and lots of adventure.

Saying goodbye to this sweet month--the month that Dr. Jen and Paul and Sharon came to stay, the month baby Ben came to stay, too--has been so emotional for me, and today Lily, Sofie and Nora were right there with me.  It is hard to say goodbye to so many good things, and hard to deal with how overwhelmingly grateful we are for them.

So I'm not gonna write very much.  But here's some sweet pictures from the last four days.

And I'm just not ready to write about all this right now.   The phrase that always comes to me with her is "unmerited grace", because it is...I am not her child and neither is Matt, these are not her grandchildren, and we've done nothing to deserve her time and help and love, and she gives freely and joyfully and sacrificially anyway.  I'm so thankful, and He has answered so many prayers, and I could not, could not have done the last sweet month without Sharon, nor would have wanted to.
